Profunda femoral artery

The profunda femoral artery, also known as the deep femoral artery, supplies blood to the thigh’s deep musculature. Occlusive disease or aneurysms here can impair distal perfusion, necessitating revascularization or surgical intervention to maintain functional integrity of the lower extremity.
