Nutcracker syndrome

Nutcracker syndrome involves compression of the left renal vein, typically between the superior mesenteric artery and the aorta. Patients may present with flank pain, hematuria, or varicocele, prompting imaging studies and consideration of endovascular or surgical decompression.
