External carotid artery
The external carotid artery supplies oxygenated blood to the face, scalp, and neck structures. Pathologies, such as significant stenosis or aneurysm, may compromise facial perfusion or present hemorrhage risk, warranting careful diagnostic imaging and possible surgical intervention.
