Copernicium

Copernicium is a synthetic element, potentially the first element to be both a metal and a gas at room temperature. It is extremely volatile when reacting with gold, behaving more like a noble gas than a metal. 
High-energy collisions are required to synthesize superheavy elements. Copernicium was created by bombarding lead with zinc traveling at 30,000 km per second. The most stable isotope of copernicium has a half-life of only about 30 seconds.
