Tetanus, diphtheria and acellular pertussis (vaccine)

The Tdap vaccine contains less diphtheria and pertussis protein than the DTaP vaccine. Tdap is intended for adults, who have a higher incidence of reactions to the ‘D’ and ‘P’ components of the children’s vaccine formulation.
